Don't think Iran gets what a "crazy man" Trump is ?!
I'm thinking that the current Iranian leadership ... more or less tattered, and as likely phoning it in from Russia, worse for the wear ... gets it (The Trump American-Style Grift-Show), to use North Korean Kim Jong-un's "Trump Rocketman" rebuttal, what a "Crazy Man" Trump and his hired un-holy maga-nite administration really is / are ... and as such, their collective unpredictability. File under the defense / bully term, Mocking or in Donald's world ... MUCKING it up.
As for my example ... Imagine a person who runs naked, having thrown their clothes, hat, shoes, and water aside ... into either the Great Salt Desert or the Dasht-e Lut ... screaming at the top of their lungs, or voice, 'No one can stop me, only I can make it to the other side. Get out of my way or suffer my total wrath ?!
After all, it was Trump who tore-up the US-Iran agreement. And it was Trump that caused the Strait of Hormuz to become closed. Two actions or reactions, not just one. That ... in my opinion ... is the unstable action / reaction of an individual with questionable or extreme physical or mental mis- conditions.
And a guy working for the same boss in Moscow as the Iranian leadership. That's three players on two sided board ... figure that one out ... as I don't currently see the resolution to that evil triangle of world-wide terror.

Added, as an aside or mocking comment : Melania is sure it wasn't Jeffery or Ghislaine that put her hand in Donald's pants ... but she won't rule-out a third-party individual code-named "Lolita" from the Express Coffee Shoppe in New York-Miami that might have done the first introductive burn. Yea, those after-party hangovers can be a real bitch... even years later ... burp-ski ?!
